ustomers and Sales Order Processing

Customer orders and requirements are managed through a feature rich sales order processing system helping you to ensure that your customer gets the product that they need, when they need it. Successful briefs can easily be converted into sales orders thus avoiding the duplication of effort and associated risk of errors.

All sales orders are based on an individual price list for each customer with the ability to record the customer’s own coding and descriptions. Multiple prices can also be recorded for each product to reflect any special terms or quantity breaks.

Shipments can be either full or by part line item and dataEssence incorporates powerful facilities for amending orders including the automatic scheduling of call-offs.

All client documentation, including safety data sheets and specifications, will accurately reflect client codes and descriptions and can keep the formulation codes confidential.

dataEssence will record the correct allocation in the stock file for the products ordered and where these are also being made-to-order, the necessary raw materials (based on the formulation) are also reserved.

When the products are ready for despatch, dataEssence will produce all the relevant documentation including;

  • Invoices
  • Delivery Notes (dataEssence supports multiple delivery addresses for a single invoice address)
  • Certificates of Analysis
  • Specifications
  • Address labels
  • GHS / CLP drum labels

Generally all dataEssence documents are custom-designed for each installation, recognising that in the sales environment it is of particular importance that these accurately reflect the image of the company.
